A time to relax, rejoice and renew.

A time to relax, rejoice and renew.
Quote of the day

‘It’s time to relax by slowing down or decelerating from the acceleration of a working week. It’s time to rejoice over 48 hours of celebrations, joy and happiness and it’s time to renew that energy lost last week and revive it for a new working week.’

Broken into two segments Life is such a splendour to wake up to on a fine Saturday morning where the birds are still asleep and the earthworms are almost hanging up their boots for the day. I use the words two segments because we have a noted five day working week which is made of a strict written agenda, performed with merit and fulfilled and accomplished with pedigree. Then there is the second segment of our lives which is the long awaited weekend where we find the time to relax, rejoice and renew. Yes, it is time to relax by slowing down or decelerating from the acceleration of a working week. It’s time to rejoice over 48 hours of celebrations, joy and happiness and it’s time to renew that energy lost last week and revive it for a new working week. The working week uses up more energy than the weekend therefore our food intake for each segment of our life is normally different. Equally we spend more energy in physical work during the weekdays than the weekends. You need to understand how to balance your life so that your mind can think coherently and your body can perform majestically. Life is like a rainbow that starts at one end of the day and majestically radiates over the end of the day. Life is full of colours mingled with subtlety and coated with divinity. Life is like an aura in the north that fills the air with wonder, spectacle and fascination. Life is an effervescent state of affairs, bubbling with inspiration in the morning and aerated with motivation during the day. Working weeks can become weekends too when you are on holiday. The spectacle of life then becomes the same every day. Dear Friends, would you promise me that you will relax, rejoice and renew yourself this weekend. I say this vehemently because your time is your life. If you manage it well than you have longevity as your reward and prosperity as the cherry on the top of your cake. With prosperity in mind and longevity in the background what more in life do you need? Get up and go I say for life awaits you, every one of you. GOD is good and created a majestic platform for us to work, play and rest. GOD has made our life a spectacle of events to enjoy and to appreciate.

‘Don’t eat to stay off your feet, eat to stay on your feet’
Quote of the day
‘Eating foods that make you ill, sleepy and off your feet can do you considerable harm, you need to eat foods that keeps you well, alert and on your feet.’

How important is your life is proportional to the importance of eating moderately and considerately. I say this with great emphasis because the mind and the body are vital parts of you to make goals become reality. Keeping unhealthy leads to early mortality. Having a strong mentality to correct eating is a normality to a meritocratic Goal Setter. You are entitled to eat but what you eat is not necessarily your entitlement. You don’t have to eat a kebab a day because a kebab shop is below your apartment. You don’t have to eat a portion of chips smothered in oil, you can eat a healthier portion with no oil at all. You see, Dear Friends eating foods that make you ill, sleepy and off your feet can do you considerable harm, you need to eat foods that keeps you well, alert and on your feet. This constitutes the correct recipe, method or strategy to succeed. Your body is a powerhouse to function like a dynamo. Your body is usually ignited by inspiration and motivation but if it lacks vitality like a neglected engine your performance will be sluggish, unmotivated and uninspired. The real question you need to ask yourself is, do you want to see a radical change in 2015 or do you want to see a minor change or no change at all. The opulence from The Universe will only flow into your heart or your bank account if you open your heart or account correctly. You need an attuned mind and body to do just that. Let your body and mind harmonise during the day and during the night. Rest peacefully and work steadily, do this conscientiously for the rest of your life. Assign memos for the day and be governed by these memos. A memo could also include the amount of calories you eat. It is easy to gauge the value of calories and fats in foods. In The Databank Times there is useful information to help you along your road to success. I want you to succeed. I succeeded but my road is still long. I have a further journey of almost 45 years and during this journey I am constantly learning. Your journey could be longer or shorter therefore I want you to take the right steps forward. Ground rules are important to prepare for the best in you from the rest of you. We are all born equally, therefore we should strive for equality amongst all. Eating moderately and considerately is a valued step forward. It makes you realise the importance of your life and the importance of your very own life.

‘3 Diets that Work’

Quote of the day

‘Being poor in health reduces your chance to enrich your wealth. Being lethargic in mind reduces your ability to be refined. Without a good body and a solid mind your success will be shoddy and unrefined.’

One of the key features to our overall success is the atonement on a regular basis of our body and our mind. Like a car our body requires a constant service. It needs to be topped up with the correct nutrients and it needs to be handled with extreme care. Most of us ignore this and live life focused on how we will survive in the world of commerce. Little do we realise how important it really is to have a mind and a body to cope with the constraints of The Financial World. When I noticed that my body needed that special care or when I noticed things that were abnormal in my life such as bloating, allergies, IBS or that lethargic feeling, I had to take action. Like a car that starts to stall or misfire or jerks or squeaks when you apply breaks we are feeling and seeing symptoms. Symptoms are clear indications. Symptoms are alarm warnings and we need to take heed. During the past 20 years I developed 3 Diets that worked for me. The following is a brief description of these diets and I shall expand on them later on in The Databank Times.

The 1st Diet that I developed was called ‘The GONE diet’ and I developed this diet when I turned 50. When I turned 50 I noticed that I developed allergies to certain foods such as nuts and eggs. The GONE diet was the elimination of 4 groups of food from my diet for a period of 40 days and 40 nights. GONE stands for the elimination of Gluten, Oils, Nuts and Eggs from my diet. I cannot express in words how wonderful I felt after 40 days and 40 nights.

The 2nd Diet is called the ‘No COPS Diet.’ I developed The No COPS diet when I neglected myself some time ago during the cold winter that we had experienced here in good old London Town. Again for 40 days and 40 nights I would eliminate or reduce the intake from my diet COPS. COPS stands for Carbohydrates, Oils, Pasta and Potatoes and Sugars. In conjunction with rudimentary exercising such as walking around the block and basic isometric moves I lost weight.

The 3rd Diet that I developed to suit my needs and my profession was called ‘The Potatorian Diet.’ Now this may sound ludicrous but it is amazing how nutritious a potato can be if cooked correctly and there is such an incredible variety of potatoes the world over. During this Diet my wife who is a celebrated Chef created 29 recipes using just potatoes as a theme. Potatoes contain a useful source of vitamins, minerals, protein, carbohydrates and fibre and it has virtually no fat. This was such an incredible DIET that I remained a Potatorian for almost 10 years.

Dear Friends you need to watch your DIET. You need to Dine Intelligently and Exercise Technically. Keep in touch and I shall provide you with many good recipes that are affordable and enjoyable. To your health I salute you, and to your wealth I applaud you.
