‘Don’t cut off the goose that lays the golden egg.’
Quote for the day
‘Learn to
appreciate the things that you already have before you deviate into the things
that you do not have.’
It is good to have visions of
the future and to highlight these dreams with the zest to make them come true.
Focussing on what can become and to become unfocussed on what have already
become can be quite misleading. The goose that lays the golden egg is something
you need to aspire to. What you already have is something that you must
appreciate, nurture and value. It maybe something insignificant or a mediocre salary,
whatever it may well it is something that you must learn to appreciate. A bird in
the hand is worth two in the bush. When we create dreams we tend to live these
dreams in a world of dreams, neglecting key sources of income that keeps us
afloat. Creating resolutions for the New Year needs to be carefully sought out
before executing a valid agenda to fulfil them. Energies need to be equally
distributed in what needs to be done for tomorrow as well as for today. You
cannot ignore your current obligations or at least neglect them to venture into
new absolutions. Life is about responsibilities past, present and future. A
carefully orchestrated agenda needs to encompass all levels of responsibilities.
You cannot afford to risk your current source of income in particular to focus
on possible sources of income. You need an equal hand in sequel actions. Do
good today and feel good tomorrow. Exercise goodness in all good deeds and
actions for all eternity. Life is like an endless road. Every detour or meander
in your life cycle of endless activities must be undertaken with care and with
appreciation. Hold on securely to what you have, let go if you no longer need
it and gather more from the opulence of The Universe as required. Learn to
appreciate the things that you already have before you deviate into the things
that you do not have.
