Finding Inner Peace is easy, maintaining it is harder.

Finding Inner Peace is easy, maintaining it is harder.

Quote of the day
‘Finding Inner Peace is quite easy. You can feel the stillness around you, you can sense the calmness within you and you can taste the tranquillity of your thoughts. Maintaining Peace is a lot harder especially when the turbulence of life awakes, when the commotion of struggle starts and when hostility is reborn.’

Bonus Quote
‘It is important to start your day with a prayer, recited in silence and united in guidance.’

Leaving home in a relaxed mood helps to promote your day. To attain a relaxed feeling you need to start your day with a prayer done with sincerity and done without constant repetition. I always maintain that the perfect time to start your day with a prayer is in the early hours of the morning for it is actually the perfect moat to pray in. The air is so still, the roads are unusually quiet, life is dormant from simple lifeforms to complex lifeforms like us, the TV is off and the phone is usually silent and free from cold calls. You need this ideal platform to begin your day, you really do. Don’t take my word for it, try it for yourself and see how peaceful it really is. Inner Peace means greater concentration, undisturbed meditation, muscle relaxation and better mind composure for you. The sudden loss of Inner Peace actually only starts when life wakes up and when you leave home, closing the front door behind you. As you can see finding Inner Peace is quite easy especially in the morning, but it gets more difficult to maintain and sustain as your day gets older. In the early hours of the morning you can feel the stillness around you, you can sense the calmness within you and you can taste the tranquillity of your thoughts. This is the period of time where you can think at your level best and write down your daily agenda for the day or the week or the month. It is a period of time where goals are created from a blank canvas to a colourful dream, etched in your own thoughts and inscribed in your unselfish mannerism. I urge you as of today to allow yourself adequate time in the morning for your prayer. I want you to know what you want to pray for and what you want to pray about. Having this mind-set will make you more focussed on your prayer. This will then invigorate you to do better and become the best in your chosen field. Maintaining Peace is a lot harder and comes with a great deal of practice. When the turbulence of life awakes, when the commotion of struggle starts and when hostility is reborn, usually around 5:30am the silence of Inner Peace is normally broken. To overcome this you need to focus on your agenda. You need to be alert and vigilant at all times and you need to turn a blind eye of the usual distracting sounds that come your way. This will help you to balance the scales of Inner Peace to that of outer Peace. Chant in the morning in a comfortable seated position the following mantra, this mantra is just a guide, you could modify it or choose your own mantra:

‘I am at peace with myself, for I am thee and not of them. I love my life and I love everything about life. I am breathing in goodness into every cell in my body. I am also exhaling out badness from every cell in my body. I am at peace with myself, for I am thee and not of them.’
