The AIM Factor – Part 1
Quote of the day
‘The AIM Factor can
best be defined as the level of Aspiration, Inspiration and Motivation you need
to get the ball rolling. The AIM
Factor is likened to a battery. A flat battery delivers a poor source of energy
making a light bulb seem dull and less illuminated, whilst a fully charged
battery delivers a good source of energy making a light bulb seem brighter and more
illuminated.’
Welcome to the
penultimate midweek of June 2016. As promised I shall talk about the AIM Factor
and its importance in reaching your success in life. The
AIM Factor can best be defined as the level of Aspiration, Inspiration and
Motivation you need to get the ball rolling. We talking a full 100% in each category in
order to achieve a 100% success rate. Any variance will affect your overall
success. Let us first define each category with immense
clarity. What is Aspiration? Aspiration can best be
defined as the level of passion that you have for a particular goal in life. Such a level of passion is linked to the
craving you have for a particular goal. The stronger your cravings are the stronger
is your passion. Like a fully charged battery Aspiration stops there
until you use it. This where you need inspiration. What is inspiration. Inspiration
can best be described as the stimulus needed to turn creativity into
productivity. In other words, taking a goal and accomplishing it. Inspiration
is usually an external stimulus, from the outer you to the inner you. People are always
seeking inspiration, some find it and others do not. Finally, we need Motivation. What is Motivation. Motivation can best be
described as the reason to take action. There is always a reason for making
goals come true. Goals take up time, they expend energy, they can be quite expensive
and they always have a purpose. If your goal or goals do not have a purpose what
is the point of wasting time and money working towards it. When we take action
we know that our goal has a valid purpose. To make your goals work you need
100% from each category. You need 100% Aspiration, 100% Inspiration and 100%
Motivation. Your AIM Factor has to be rated 100% or your end result will be
affected. Join me tomorrow for Part 2 of this important article Have a great
evening.
