Endeavour forever

Endeavour forever

Quote of the day

‘Be clever, endeavour forever. Never say never. Endeavour whenever you can, wherever you can, however you can and whichever way you can.’

Welcome to a wonderful, peaceful and beautiful Sunday, the first of August 2016. It is good as ever to have you on board on a journey of inspiration and a voyage of motivation. Today our theme is about endeavouring to do, to say and to think. The word ENDEAVOUR reminds you of 9 potent words to set you in motion. These words are Exercise, Nutrition, Dream, Effort, Aspiration, Vision, Opportunities, Undertaking and Resistance. In the past 1700 articles that I wrote I included many power words to assist you in attaining your personal level of success. You have the choice to choose power words to suit your circumstances. If the word fits your circumstances use it with immediate effect. Today we shall use the word ENDEAVOUR. The first word in this sequence of letters is Exercise. Exercise is a fundamental chore of any human being, without such an inclusion in your daily agenda it will be like a driving a neglected motor vehicle. Exercising is a Science in itself consisting of carefully orchestrated isometrics to suit your age, fitness and gender. What follows like a trailer to a car is Nutrition. Exercise works hand in hand with Nutrition. You need to eat perfectly balanced meals, period. You need fibre to set you on fire, carbohydrates to maintain a steady growth rate and a healthy pulse rate, fats for the acrobats and vitamins for enlightenment. Although the above sentence rhymes it actually holds a valued meaning. It is all about balance. The higher your demands the greater are your needs. What an acrobat needs are not necessarily what you need. It is all about balance. The next word is to Dream. Dreams create a wonderful passage of your fruitful life on Earth. To extract the right Dreams, you need Exercise and Nutrition. The next word is very fitting. It is called Effort. Every little effort can make a huge difference in your life. I called this the Leverage Effect. More about this in a later instalment. You can move mountains, change the direction of rivers and create cleaner and fresher air with just a little bit of effort. Effort requires the right pockets of energy, again the right Nutrition and the right Exercise provides this. Aspiration is about goal searching. Dreams create an epic glimpse of what you can actually achieve. Aspiration enables you to choose whatever you want to do in a timeframe to suit you. Dreams fire you to make the right choices. As you aspire you create Visions of yourself in the next day, the next week, the next month, the next year and in the next decade. Visions are actually creative dreams that come to life. You take on the leading role, create bespoke goals, you work in conjunction with your body, mind and soul are as a whole. Linked to goals are Opportunities. Many people will probably say I cannot see any opportunities ahead of me. Let me change your mind-set if I may. Goals are like little keys that open doors and in these open cubicles lie immense opportunities for all. Opportunities are available for all and just for a selected few. To realise an opportunity, you need that special key or goal. Now comes the responsibility that is attached to a goal and that is the Undertaking. A goal is made up of tasks. Each task requires you to apply an Effort. With no effort, there is no comfort, with no comfort there is no resort. Apply Effort to the best of your ability. To do this effectively you need Resistance. You need Resistance to overcome Resistance. Resistance can best be defined as the act of resisting an opposing force. Take an example of an opposing force such as procrastination. Build your Resistance by following a sequence of power words. These power words are Exercise, Nutrition, Dream, Effort, Aspiration, Vision, Opportunities, and Undertaking. Get the sequence right and the consequence will be a strong resistance. Having a strong Resistance makes you go the distance. Going the distance means that you are persistence during your existence. Have a wonderful and restful Sunday. I hope that you were inspired.

POWER

POWER

Quote of the day

‘Power can best be described as your personal competence to perform a particular workload. It is equated to your individual strength which can vary and it determines how well you perform in any aspect of your life.’

Greetings and salutations to yet another wonderful day in a wonderful month. It may be a tad cold but always remember that your life is as gold, as a marigold.

Power in your life shines like the petal on a marigold flower, glistening in the early hours of the morning dew. Bees, butterflies and birds can see it from a distance. As it gives it also receives. It has power and so do you. Yesterday we spoke about courage. It is easy to say be courageous at the worst of times but you need to know how to ignite the power in you first. Power is something that you need to develop, to accrue and to allow it to manifest. What cannot be done today can always be achieved later on because if you lack the power you need to develop it first. Very much like a weightlifter extra power is always needed to lift an extra kilo. Your mind and your body needs to work together. We spoke about nutrition and exercise recently. Eating the right foods helps and exercising in the right way helps too. I learnt the hard way to identify and eat the right foods. As an example I know that I need to eat extra fibre to maintain my strength. The general and accepted formula is to consume 15g of fibre for every 1000 calories eaten. You need to understand the chemistry of your foods. This allows you to assimilate power in the right way. Exercising is essential, however you need someone to train you and this is why I recommended those series of exercises for you to choose. Each exercise DVD comes with your own personal trainer to guide you to fortify power in your muscles in the right way. With the right power you can overcome any obstacle in your life. You can move a difficult situation into a different quadrant of your life. You can remove a financial obstacle with confidence. You can prove that you have the ability to overcome your fear. You can approve something before committing to it or you can disapprove something without been pressured to commit to it. Power enables you do this. Power is personal. You are the user of your personal power. You can build on your power using the right nutritional and exercise methods as I have outlined and you can use power in the way it suits you. What one person does may not necessarily be suitable for another person. Therefore, you don’t need to have a body like Arnold or Sly. You just need to be you, healthy, happy and competent. This is your life. Your life is a precious gift. It has power to do amazing things. It has the power to accomplish and fulfil. It has the power to endure. Do it, be it, say it, have it, love it, enjoy it, give it, embrace it, caress it, increase it and share it. This is your life from start to finish.

The 90 – 180 – 360 - day challenge (Part 1)

The 90 – 180 – 360 - day challenge (Part 1)

Quote of the day

‘Taking on a challenge is like starting all over again. You identified the problem now you need to implement the solution. There is no hurry for haste always creates a trail of waste, generally of your valuable time and money. Therefore, a timeframe to suit your predicament must be merited by your own judgement.’

Welcome to the first day of a new working week from me Anthony Pan on my 57th birthday. It is great to have you on board as my eternal friend. We spoke about implementation in the past week and such an implementation was based on ‘The Triangular concept of Success’. Always remember that any implementation can only begin if you have a strong foundation. Yesterday when we spoke we highlighted that in order to succeed using the Triangular Concept of Success you need three core ingredients. These three core ingredients were Purpose, Exercise and Nutrition or abbreviated as the PEN Effect. These three core ingredients when mixed together in the right proportions will create a strong foundation for you to succeed. 21 years ago I had no access to these core ingredients. I never knew that they existed and that when mixed they will create a strong foundation. Strong foundations are vital to any aspect of your life. It is very much like planting a seed in fertile soil as opposed to throwing a seed onto the road. Without a strong foundation the seed will never grow. Likewise, without a strong foundation you will never succeed. It is very much like concrete which is made up of three core ingredients namely aggregate, cement and water. To create a strong foundation using concrete you need to use the three core ingredients in the right proportions. Likewise, to create a real success story in your life you need a strong foundation made up of Purpose, Exercise and Nutrition. These were laws that were passed down from generation to generation but suppressed so that only a few could benefit from them. I knew that Nutrition and Exercises existed in different forms made popular in those days by the likes of Floyd and Jane Fonda respectively. The purpose of my life was a huge enigma for me because I always placed reliance on man who limited my scope and my abilities. I was a vegetarian since the age of 18 but that was not good enough to understand the correct concept of eating. I was quite active in various forms of sport such as squash, jogging, cycling and karate but this was not good enough to be entirely fit. In an incredible revelation which I often call an elevation from a revelation I uncovered the secrets to success. I became fully aware of my purpose in life and about my existence. Slowly, I understood about equality amongst all and I comprehended the meaning of life. All of these incredible findings I documented and compiled later on into the three book series called The Modern Day Trilogy. The Modern Day Trilogy has been in circulation for over 20 years. It started off as a manual which was passed onto my students. With the purpose in my life more clearly defined finding the right method of eating and exercising was a lot easier, hence the PEN Effect. Help is out there but not all sources of help is genuine. The Internet may well be a source of information but it is also a source of imitation. People create sites to attract. They create eBooks to entice. They create offers with an attached price. Suddenly they become overnight Mentors, Speakers and Internet Marketers. The Internet then becomes a typical row of shops that offers something to lure you, to allure you, to obscure you and possibly reassure you. You then buy but eventually cry. You try and suddenly sigh. You read and then suddenly bleed with disappointment. You end up paying for something that does not hold a strong foundation to your life. You then lose confidence and experience a setback. The purpose of these recent articles was to make available to you a defined solution to your overall dilemma, if needed. Don’t despair when you know that life is really fair. Don’t lose hope when there is a lifeline to help you to cope. Ensure you have the right support with a real and valued purport. Latch onto something that means something. Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls if you have a problem I want to assure you that a solution awaits you. I want to assure you that I am the only Author in the world that keeps in touch with his readers daily feeding them with fresh and relevant material. I live to aspire, inspire, motivate, formulate, fascinate, circulate, stimulate and alleviate you. Join me tomorrow for Part 2 of ‘The 90 – 180 – 360 - day challenge.’

The Swop Shop

The Swop Shop

Quote of the day

‘The Swop Shop is an excellent rendezvous for those wishing to switch from a negative habit to a positive habit. The results are breathtaking. Swop stress with a game of chess. Swop debt without stress. Swop talking with walking. Swop lunch with a munch. Swop white bread with brown bread.’

Welcome to the start of your new working week and of sadly the final working week of January 2016. It is also a good gauge to determine your progress into the New Year. Did you make a mundane start or a humane start to 2016? It is never too late to make a new start, with 340 days left before 2017 there is an incredible amount of time at your disposal, which is in fact 29,376,000 seconds. Today I want to introduce you to the Swop Shop. The Swop Shop is your personal Shop where you can change bad habits into good ones. It is a simple technique where your virtual Swop Shop stocked with noble concepts from the global market can be accessed at any time. Let’s look at some classic examples that can change your life for the common good and help to steer you in the right direction. If followed incessantly you will see instant changes in your life. So, the golden rule is to visit your virtual Swop Shop at least three times a day. Stop the talking and get cracking with the walking. If you commute by bus get off one stop before your destination and walk. If you travel by car, park at least 15 minutes away from your destination and walk. Underground or overground, please follow the same procedure. Walking is so much better than talking. Stop talking get on with the walking for at least 20 minutes a day. Drinking is good if your drink is pure as water. Distilled water is good, sparkling water is even better. A hint of lemon or lime enhances the taste. Our body is made up of 73% of water so why contaminate it with impure water such as coffee, tea, cold drinks, juices and alcohol. Be pure and be sure. Don’t go nuts, just eat them. Almonds are good because they help you to lose weight. Brazil nuts are a good source of selenium. Swop from white to brown. Ditch the white breads, switch from white flour to brown flour and pitch white rice for brown rice. Swop the superfoods for the bad foods. An apple a day keeps the doctor away. A pear a day cares for your skin because of its phytonutrients. Swop the sherries for the berries. Your virtual Swop Shop should include cherries. blueberries, strawberries, gooseberries, cranberries and raspberries. Create smoothies to assimilate different fruits into your diet. From vegetables to low sugar fruits, a smoothie can soothe you. Swop the crap with a nap. A good nap is nature’s prescription to recover, revive, survive and to create that unique drive for the next day. Swop lunch with a munch and a crunch. Chew rather than brew. Count the calories, count the fat, count the protein and count the salt. In other words, don’t rush your meals. Have a feel for the best meal. Look for a meal that is ideal, has a sense of appeal and has lots of peels. Swop quantity for quality. Quality is broccoli gastronomy. Ensure broccoli is a daily ingredient in your diet. Hate it but eat it. Swop potatoes with sweet potatoes. Swop oils with boils. Never deep fry, just boil and garnish with condiments. Dear Friends, the Swop Shop analogy works. You can have an alternative life that is long-lasting and everlasting. Create a Swop Shop right in front of you. What you see swop it with something else that will set you free. It is wonderful to be free from harm, free from ailments, free from debt, free from anger, free from insecurity and free from intimidation. Today I include a special smoothie recipe that I created using key ingredients. This recipe is available on my blog at www.inspirationalgalleries.blogspot.co.uk. Do read my article and watch my motivational videos daily. I always do. Log onto my blog at www.inspirationalgalleries.blogspot.co.uk. Always use the Swop Shop analogy in your life and see a real difference in the next 340 days. Have a great week.

The Stepping Stone to Success

The Stepping Stone to Success

Quote of the day

‘To reach the pinnacle of your individual success you need to order the Combo Ideal Deal. The Combo Ideal Deal made to ordered is The Ideal Mind and the Ideal Body served on a silver platter. You cannot have the one and leave out the other. Success is about the Combo Ideal Deal.’

Welcome to the 1st day of a new working week in January. Did you have a restful and relaxing weekend? Such a recovery programme makes a new working week more approachable, manageable and lovable. Tackling a new working week in an approachable way makes your daily grind more accessible. You start to be friendly and your colleagues reciprocate. A manageable career is always a practicable venture, it is under your control and you always achieve your targets at the end of the day. A lovable lifestyle is a captivating experience. It fires you to do your very best at all times without leaving any stones unturned. Without 48 hours of personal relaxation and rest a working week can become an absolute nightmare, less fulfilling and less accomplished. To compliment a perfect weekend, I always recommend ordering the Combo Ideal Deal. The Combo Ideal Deal is served on a silver platter. You cannot have the one and leave the other. To succeed in life, you definitely need rest and relaxation followed by the Combo Ideal Deal. The Combo Ideal Deal stipulates that your mind and your body should be attuned with each other. A mind on its own leaves the individual as a constant dreamer. A dreamer is one that has a vision of his or her goals but does not have the provisions to implement it. A dreamer needs a machine to perform work. A machine that is reliable and a machine that can endure, assure, ensure and mature. Having a vision to improve your life is one thing but to implement it is another. The Perfect body is needed to do just that. A perfect body can endure the workload ahead of it, it can assure that the quality of the workload is maintained and it can ensure a level of warranty. Today I really would like to spend time exploring the Perfect working body. I believe that we all have the mind to dream. Sadly, we do not have the body to perform our tasks. To achieve an accomplished and fulfilling working week you need to spruce up your body. The previous statement is not meant to offend for it is also applicable to me. I always need to ask myself what can I do to achieve a perfect body. The answers always come to me instantly. Start from the bottom and work your way up. Start today and determine what needs to be done. My remedy for a healthy body is made up of the right energy, the right remedies and the right chemistry. The right energy comes from the right foods. Eat well and you will perform well. The right remedies come from good exercising. Basic exercising starts right at the bottom at walking pace and slowly progressing to a running pace and later on the cycling phase. This helps to keep your muscles toned and supple. Later on I shall direct you to recommended exercises that can extend your physical abilities. Finally, it is all about the chemistry. Yes, it is about the physiochemical process of carefully receiving signals form your brain to perform work. The right signals give the right actions. Start today, tale the first step and then the next. Count how many steps you can actually take by the end of the day. A pedometer will help. Have a fantastic working week. Let your mind work in conjunction with your body and vice versa and become a conqueror of your daily agenda.

Exercise – Apply, Supply and Comply

Exercise – Apply, Supply and Comply

Quote of the day

‘To apply yourself you need to supply yourself, firstly with the right nutrients and secondly with the right exercise routine. Dieting Incites Everyone To Ingest Nutritious Gastronomy. Exercise or Callisthenics on the other hand is an individual workout designed to suit the Meritocratic Goal Setter. To succeed in life always remember to Apply, Supply and then Comply.

Dear Friends, thank you for reading my article today called Exercise. It is about the need to exercise on a daily basis and to do this effectively we need to Apply, Supply and Comply. We need to perform work daily and to do this effectively we need the perfect body, atoned to the perfect tone. We need muscles supplied with blood vessels packed with the right nutrients and energy release substances. Our DIET is critical to our overall wellbeing but the Science to a real workout called Callisthenics is something we need to look deeply into. There are various forms of exercise which we could participate in depending on our abilities. There is yoga and Pilates, there is walking, running and cycling, there is swimming, fishing and snorkelling, there is skiing, sightseeing and surfing, there is karate, judo and kickboxing and there is tennis, table tennis and badminton to name but a few. The need to exercise is a vital part of your daily routine. You need to look after your body from head to toe and from cell to cell. We have our limits. We need to rest when we tire. We need to eat when we are hungry. All of these concepts involves three simple rules: Apply, Supply and Comply. Can a car travel indefinitely without top-ups and servicing? Can a cheetah go beyond 500m in short burst of speeds up to 120km/h? Dear Friends we are meritocratic individuals striving to succeed in life but to accomplish this we need a well-balanced body and mind. Yesterday we spoke about the correct way to eat. Today we want to talk about the correct way to train using a segment of knowledge called Callisthenics. Dear Friends, without the right knowledge we cannot execute the right action. Try opening a door with the wrong key. Try walking on Mount Everest without an oxygen tank. Everything in life is about exploring the known before we can venture into the unknown. My advice to a successful life is to apply, supply and comply. You need to apply the right knowledge to any given situation. Finding the right choice can be a daunting task. Nevertheless it is there, once found you need to supply yourself with the right nutrients and the right apparatus to exercise with. Trainers for running, paddles for rowing, gloves for grasping, helmets for cycling, water for reviving or padding for protection. You also need to comply with the rules of the game or sport. Always remember SPORT stands for Successful People Outdo Regular Training. It is true. Successful people always participate in special forms of regular training. They always engage in SPORT with the right SUPPORT. The above video depicts various forms of SPORT, it is your choice but always remember do it with Passion and Desire. Don’t start something and later give up on it. Make it an everlasting affair.

Remember it’s December – Remember it’s a month of LEADERSHIP

Remember it’s December – Remember it’s a month of LEADERSHIP

Quote of the day

‘Remember in December to take 31 days and create 365 days of noted change in your life, a lifetime of joy and happiness that permeates the air above you and a legacy of good deeds for others to follow with your own personal trademark. To achieve this you need LEADERSHIP’

White Rabbit! White Rabbit! White Rabbit! A festive welcome to the month of December 2015. Our theme for this month is called ‘Remember its December. It is an important month because we are going to gain LEADERSHIP in all our activities from now on. LEADERSHIP is about the mastery of management and in our case scenario we need to focus on the management of our Time, our Life and of our Finances. Keep these three important aspects of our lives in check and you have the making of a successful individual. To emphasis this point we shall use the word LEADERSHIP as an acronym to create a methodology to enhance our personal psychology. My definition of Personal Psychology is to create a lifetime of happiness and joy from within. Happiness and Joy must always be and should always be at the forefront of our existence. Take these two vital qualities away and you take away a life worthy of 100 years. LEADERSHIP is an excellent acronym to use as conjures up 10 useful words. These 10 words are: LONGEVITY, ETERNITY, AFFLUENCE, DIET, EXERCISE, RULES, SUCCESS, HAPPINESS, INSPIRATION and POSITIVITY. Before we talk about these 10 useful words we need to understand the importance of setting goals. Goals could be minute or they could be mammoth. Whatever size they are goals are designed to make substantial changes for an individual. We are not in a competition but rather in a noted transition. This transition revolves around a substantial ambition and that ambition is to live an honourable life on planet Earth which is immersed in a daily aura of Happiness and Joy. Time is moving rapidly and before you know it I will be wishing you a Happy New Year. Before I do that I need to build on your creativity by making your dreams turn into workable and golden goals. By the end of this month you must have a cluster of written goals and of course, the tools and the mechanism to make them come true. This commitment will create a significant change in your life for 365 days, it will also create a lifetime of constant happiness and joy. Would you trade in such a reward for anything else? I experienced change since November 1994. I would not trade such as change for anything else. On a scale of 0 -100, I would say my Happiness and Joy peaks above 95 every single day. I want the same to happen to you too. Remember in December is a program of 31 illustrious days of coordinated instructions for you to follow and implement. It starts from nothing and it develops into something. It fills a blank canvas with a masterpiece depicting your future. Your future is unique because you are unique. You are and will be a LEADER in your field. Today I want you to earnestly believe in your uniqueness and what you can do to make a significant change to your life. Let us now expand on these 10 useful words: LONGEVITY, ETERNITY, AFFLUENCE, DIET, EXERCISE, RULES, SUCCESS, HAPPINESS and INSPIRATION. Longevity is an inbuilt programmed concept to live a physical life of 100 years which is purposeful, eventful and unselfish. Eternity is about our existence beyond the realm of our physical existence. It is an account of our life in different dimensions and in different time zones. Affluence is the Science of living in comfort, and more notably without pain and without unselfish gain. Diet is a word that I do not necessarily like because it conjures up a vision of people eating only a selected range of foods. Diet to me is a process of eating intelligently and eating according to your workloads. Exercise is the necessity of an individual to help maintain a sturdy figure and to keep muscles toned and healthy. Rules are for the making and consists of a series of carefully orchestrated instructions that have been laid down for us to follow from the beginning of time. Success is our mainstream conduit to overcome stress. Stress is a killer, Success is a countermeasure. Happiness is the fountain of youthfulness, it annuls the forbidden zone of sadness. INSPIRATION is the breath of life. It intoxicates you with the constant desire and passion to make dreams come true. Finally POSITIVITY is the highlight, limelight, starlight, sunlight, bright light and delight that ignites you during daylight and during your nightlight. Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls these 10 words are like tools to an artesian, melodies to a musician, circuitry to a technician, makeup to a beautician, figures to a mathematician, wiring to an electrician and words to a composition. I want to take 10 days in December with your permission of course to expand on these 10 most useful words. I think it is relevant to your overall Success. I wish you everything of the best as you close the curtains to your adventurous 2015 and open the doors in 30 days to 365 glorious days in 2016.

The Science of Resilience

The Science of Resilience

Quote of the day

‘The Science of Resilience is about the inner spirit within you wanting to develop the consciousness of living and exercising the purpose of life in a way that unifies the mind, body and soul as one.’

Anything in life including us that needs to perform work requires some form of energy. Energy is drive to make you get up and go. As much as we care for the outer and exposed parts of our body we need to care equally for the inner parts of our body. This is a daily requisite in life where time for your maintenance from head to toe needs to be allowed for. What we see in front of the mirror is also an indication of how we feel inside. An outer appearance of a supple skin, a good eyesight and a healthy crop of hair is a clear indication that the inner parts of your body is functioning okay. To become the ultimate achiever in life you need to coordinate your mind, body and soul to unify and work as one. Take a fully charged battery such as a torch battery as an example. The battery standing on the supermarket shelf or in your tool box has no real value even though it is packed with massive streams of energy or vivacity. We need to unleash this inner energy by connecting it to a device such as a torch and when switched on will cause a filament such as tungsten to glow. In this process we are also coordinating and connecting by converting one energy into another. In this example we are converting potential energy into kinetic energy and then chemical energy into electrical energy. We all have energy within us too stored in different forms and when needed to perform work we need to connect and coordinate. We have three distinct forms of inner energy and this is Spiritual Energy, Intellectual Energy and finally Dynamic Energy also referred to as our Soul, Mind and Body. The coordination and connection and transferal of energy within us moves from chemical to electrical then potential and finally kinetic when we do work. Like an unused battery if we do not connect or coordinate we will not be able to perform work profitably and productively. The above video gives you an idea of how to connect and coordinate on a daily basis and acts a simple reference guide which you can modify according to your circumstances. I call this a daily start and end process. We start our day with a prayer and this awakens our soul to the heavens above in a conduit of complex signals that we cannot see, decode or understand. This is spiritual energy which uses insignificant watts of energy. It is our vital link to the heavens above and our passage to eternity. Therefore we need to look after it. The mind made up of the conscious, subconscious and unconscious mind is the adaptive activity centre of all organisms and is called Intellectual Energy. The brain, the 3 pound power chamber of the body has over 100 billion neurons communicating with each other or to other parts of the body through synapses. The transmission of a nerve impulse is not simply an electrical phenomenon as described by Galvani but it is also a physiochemical process that involves the expenditure of energy as well, converting chemical energy into electrical energy. Finally we have dynamic energy where thoughts manifest into action. Good foods do create good moods and play a key role in how we expend energy profitably. Take a home that is not insulated correctly. The occupier has energy at his or her disposal because they are able to pay for it on a monthly basis. However due to poor insulation and the lack of basic common-sense are actually expending energy unwisely and this regretfully has a knock-on effect on our planet. To be successful in life you need to be sensible or remain sensible every second of your centenary life. As you get older and wiser you must instil good values in the younger generation by setting examples. Starting at home is the best way possible. A happy home is the start to a happy community. Happy communities create happy settlements. Always remember that you cannot have an accomplished day if your mind is under stress or strain or your body is distressed and sprained. You need all three energy sources to get you going. A good exercise routines bespoke to your needs must be introduced in your daily tasks. Different people have different physical abilities, my advice is to start simple with Pilates, Yoga, Aerobics or Walking.

Sport – Power your life

Sport – Power your life

Quote of the day

‘Sport Powers Our Radiant Thoughts’

Dear Friends, we have the ability to achieve anything that our heart desires and feels content with. If our wish is unselfish it shall be granted. We just have to believe. Many a goal is derived from our thoughts. As think we develop these thoughts in something that will manifest if we took action. Successful people the world over became successful because they took their radiant thoughts and turned them into action. It is a bit like a car and a driver. A car can be likened to your body and your mind can be likened to the driver. Without knowledge and training driving your car would be impossible. The desire and passion to drive is normally intense around the age of 17 when we are legally allowed to learn how to drive. What is really needed is knowledge and common-sense. Knowledge comes from reading the Highway Code and by observation such as watching our parents drive. Once sufficient knowledge is acquired we then need to pass our theory test. Once passed it would then be fitting to move onto the practical. With practice our confidence grows and finally there is the dreaded test. There is also a bit of show and tell in the practical test whereupon several questions maybe asked such as how do you top up the coolant? Once passed we then moved onto the next stage and that is to drive. As a driver we know that an overall visual check of our vehicle will determine whether our tyres, fuel, coolant and oil levels are correct. Driving then becomes an individual assessment. An individual assessment determines how well we drive, how careful we accelerate and how conscious we decelerate. Caring for the environment helps because your acceleration determines your emissions. As a driver being alert and vigilant enables you to avoid accidents. As you can see the analogy of the car illustrates how a thought process can manifest into something if done the right way. There are good drivers and there are bad drivers. There are good cars because they are cared for and there are bad cars that often give problems as a result of total neglect. To become successful we need to develop the power associated with the energy required to perform work. Our mind needs to think radiant thoughts and our body needs to perform the necessary action in order for these radiant thoughts to manifest into a success story. To gain power we need to exert ourselves physically, eat the right kinds of foods and to believe in our overall abilities. SPORT helps to do just that. To create a success story we need power. Power gives you strength to do things that you once could not do. Power is force, with force you are able to take action moving an object from place to another effortlessly. Power is energy and energy is your daily drive or push if you like to get going for the day. Our muscles constitute the mechanism of action in our bodies, coupled with good food that creates good moods we can achieve anything. We spoke about food, glorious food a few days ago. This is an important requisite to get the ball rolling. Like a car that needs the correct grade of fuel, coolant and liquids to perform and a regular service to maintain performance, your life is pretty much the same. Certain food actually make you very lethargic and only you will know how you feel when you eat certain food groups. Muscles determine your ability to perform physical work. Muscles are linked to proteins because proteins are our building blocks for muscular growth. Your diet therefore needs adequate amounts of protein per day in order to keep muscles strong and healthy. Muscles need toning too and SPORT helps. Any form of SPORT can make an overall difference to your life. We spoke about creating working agendas recently. Creating a segment in your day to partake in SPORT is vital. Dear Friends, take care of your body and your mind will take care of your radiant thoughts. Be like the good driver and the god car. Drive well and always remember to be well.

‘To be successful in life your body, the temple of your activities must be atoned to meet your demands. Whatever happens around you starts from within you. If you want to see an effective change around you then you must make an individual change within you.’

Using your weekends to experiment with basic workouts can help improve your working weeks. It is all about conversation, education and participation. Many of us are too afraid to experiment with new activities to keep us active rather than inactive. We don’t want to walk just for a short distance but prefer to talk for a long distance. We don’t want to be happy but prefer to be snappy instead. We don’t want to be joyful and delightful but rather would settle for sorrow about tomorrow. If it is a Sunday we will do anything to make Monday sorrowful. Why? Why do we do the opposite? Why do we become bitter rather than better? Why do we quarrel and always behave immoral? Surely we should agree and be moral instead. I think fear is our common enemy. We fear the outcome of any experiment that we undertake but would rather watch someone else do it. We fear that we maybe embarrassed or ridiculed if we try something new. This is why I say use your weekends to experiment on something new. This weekend I want you to start a new regime and that is to Keep Fit, Stay Fit. There is a multitude of activities to enrich your spirits and to help you to start Monday morning with a burst of sparkle. What can you do to enrich your spirits? There is walking, jogging, hopping, boxing, running, rambling or even dancing to get you going. How about a bit of sport with your children? Take to the garden and run around it. Hit the swing ball to and fro. Jump into the pool even if it makes you look like a fool. Be adventurous and take to the slopes with all your folks. Go sailing, go trailing, go hiking, go biking, go swimming, try slimming, go golfing or even bowling, anything really to get you fired. Life is all about participation. Life is all about living it. Life is all about fun, joy and happiness. Start simple with gentle steps and gently strokes. Go for a walk and have a bit of a talk, it helps and it motivates. Dear Friends, your body is indeed the temple of all your activities. You need to keep it in shape. A good body delivers peak performances 24/7. A poor body delivers a dipped performance all day long. Get the conversation going with anyone and create that unique participation to get started. If it is something new then become educated about it. Learn how to inflate a bicycle tyre or learn how to replace the tube on a tyre.  You have the appendages to do it now append it with your conversation, education and participation. Keep fit, stay fit and see how different your life would become. Whatever you want changing around you will have to start from within you.

‘3 Diets that Work’

Quote of the day

‘Being poor in health reduces your chance to enrich your wealth. Being lethargic in mind reduces your ability to be refined. Without a good body and a solid mind your success will be shoddy and unrefined.’

One of the key features to our overall success is the atonement on a regular basis of our body and our mind. Like a car our body requires a constant service. It needs to be topped up with the correct nutrients and it needs to be handled with extreme care. Most of us ignore this and live life focused on how we will survive in the world of commerce. Little do we realise how important it really is to have a mind and a body to cope with the constraints of The Financial World. When I noticed that my body needed that special care or when I noticed things that were abnormal in my life such as bloating, allergies, IBS or that lethargic feeling, I had to take action. Like a car that starts to stall or misfire or jerks or squeaks when you apply breaks we are feeling and seeing symptoms. Symptoms are clear indications. Symptoms are alarm warnings and we need to take heed. During the past 20 years I developed 3 Diets that worked for me. The following is a brief description of these diets and I shall expand on them later on in The Databank Times.

The 1st Diet that I developed was called ‘The GONE diet’ and I developed this diet when I turned 50. When I turned 50 I noticed that I developed allergies to certain foods such as nuts and eggs. The GONE diet was the elimination of 4 groups of food from my diet for a period of 40 days and 40 nights. GONE stands for the elimination of Gluten, Oils, Nuts and Eggs from my diet. I cannot express in words how wonderful I felt after 40 days and 40 nights.

The 2nd Diet is called the ‘No COPS Diet.’ I developed The No COPS diet when I neglected myself some time ago during the cold winter that we had experienced here in good old London Town. Again for 40 days and 40 nights I would eliminate or reduce the intake from my diet COPS. COPS stands for Carbohydrates, Oils, Pasta and Potatoes and Sugars. In conjunction with rudimentary exercising such as walking around the block and basic isometric moves I lost weight.

The 3rd Diet that I developed to suit my needs and my profession was called ‘The Potatorian Diet.’ Now this may sound ludicrous but it is amazing how nutritious a potato can be if cooked correctly and there is such an incredible variety of potatoes the world over. During this Diet my wife who is a celebrated Chef created 29 recipes using just potatoes as a theme. Potatoes contain a useful source of vitamins, minerals, protein, carbohydrates and fibre and it has virtually no fat. This was such an incredible DIET that I remained a Potatorian for almost 10 years.

Dear Friends you need to watch your DIET. You need to Dine Intelligently and Exercise Technically. Keep in touch and I shall provide you with many good recipes that are affordable and enjoyable. To your health I salute you, and to your wealth I applaud you.

Good Foods create good moods.

  Quote of the day
‘Good foods create good moods and conversely good moods create good foods.’
Dear Friends welcome to a fine day amongst days that are meant to be lived and thoroughly enjoyed during your lifetime on planet Earth. How has the start of your working week been thus far? Has it been okay, average, mediocre, sullen, unexpected, depressing, shocking, stressful, cold, bitter, coarse, strange, uninviting or depressing? Life should not hold such a barrage of obstacles because you are human and therefore have the right to a fair life supported by a fair system.
I cherish my life from the break of dawn to the dusk of day. I really do. I live in anticipation and I pace my day in strict and defined instructions. If my instructions are to get up at 4:00am then I shall be up with the zest to remain awake for the rest of the day. If I have to leave home to go to work I believe in leaving ten minutes early. This makes an incredible difference, it really does otherwise I would not share it with you.
You see, Dear Friends what lies in front of you is a result of your juxtaposition. Change you position, your orientation, your perception, your observation and your inference and you will change things around you. The car in front of you only appeared there because you cross the path of similar circumstances. How you deal with these circumstances may make or break your day.
One of the key ingredients if you wish to sustain a happy day is to eat well, hence the opening title, Good Foods create good moods. I do not want to ramify food descriptions down your throat for it is basically commonsense. Eat aggressive, hurriedly and greedily and you face the consequences of feelings that support negation. How about bloating, heartburn, indigestion, stomach cramps, allergies, constipation, diarrhoea, flatulence, fatigue, sleepiness or migraines.
These symptoms can ruin your day. It makes you unclear, unfocussed and uncomfortable. You know the feeling because you experienced it almost every single day of your life. Today I want to talk about a group of foods that if eaten incorrectly can cause serious consequences. These foods are fruit. Fruit is something that the stomach cannot digest and sends it to the next stage of digestion which is the small intestines.
Our organs talk to each other in a language of their own. My stomach would probably say to my small intestines, ‘Small intestines please get ready because there is some fruit coming through.’ A little later the small intestines might reply, ‘Hey stomach where is the fruit that I have been waiting for a while’. The stomach would commonly reply, ‘Sorry small intestines there seems to be a blockage as some fish, chips and corn are in the way.’ The small intestines then said, ‘Well stomach you know the consequences if fruit stays too long in you it will putrefy and young Fred is going to suffer from indigestion.’
Dear friends, Good foods really create good moods. You should eat fruit before any meals. You should allow around twenty before eating the next course. This allows the stomach to pass the fruit onto the small intestines for a clearer and normal digestion. Eating fruit after a main meal causes the fruit to remain in the stomach where it putrefies and cause indigestion, heartburn and the usual symptoms of stomach upsets.
Eat well Dear Friends and maintain a healthier approach to your daily lifestyle. Eating good foods correctly and timorously leads to goods moods and a more stable day. Try it you have nothing to loose but so much to gain. Remember fruit cannot be digested by your stomach and therefore has to been passed onto the small intestines for proper nutritional extraction and a better and healthier digestion tract. This is just one aspect of different food groups. We will speak of other food groups later on. The zest of eating well defines how your day pans out. Good Foods do create good moods, conversely good moods creates good foods. Eat well but eat it intelligently, with an abundance of water and with a great deal of consideration and moderation. Always remember that a healthy diet constitutes a wealthy lifestyle. Have a fruitful day!
