Professional Multitasking or PM

Professional Multitasking or PM

Quote of the day

‘Professional Multitasking or PM should always be everlasting. PM is about affixing a specific time to each task and arranging them in a chronological order to be done sequentially. To ensure professionalism we cannot bask in a single task all day. We cannot mask a task either for this will then lead to procrastination and eventual misrepresentation or simply unprofessionalism.’

Welcome to your very own private day called Sunday. Many will say it is the first day of a new week. I often say it is the first day of my new life where I gather all my tasks for the week and arrange them in a chronological order. I am my very own boss during the weekends and as I relax and rest my physical machinery my mental cerebrum and cerebellum is constantly working. Yesterday was typical of that for as I sat I watched, as I watched I captured and as I captured I started to create and as I created I began to see what tomorrow shall be like. From simple footages and memories of last week I formed a collage of manageable tasks to perform starting from tomorrow. Today I need to arrange them sequentially, chronologically and then list them potentially. When I say potentially what I am implying is that I am only looking at possibilities rather than actualities. By the end of today I need to switch potential tasks into essential tasks. Before the dawn of a new working week I shall have by my side, signed, sealed and approved my working tasks or my memorandum for the week ending on the 27th of November 2015. My mission then is to accomplish these tasks in a professional way without hurting anyone in the process. If I am able to do this then I am able to do anything unselfishly. I am then able to say that I can professionally multitask. In other words I am then a certified PM. Multitasking to a computer is somewhat different as opposed to multitasking in our daily lives. Multitasking in Computers is about the concurrent performance of several jobs at the same time. Human beings do this all the time. Our brain stem is largely responsible for this. We do but may not be aware of it. We digest food while we can talk. We can talk but think about something else. We can think about something else but look at something different. By looking at something different we can also excrete, secrete, be sweet, have a treat and remain discrete at the same time. This is what I call auto-multitasking. PM performances on the other hand comes from focussing on the task at hand, giving it you’re very best and concluding it within the time frame you set out for today. What I am talking about today which is crucial to your overall success is PM or Professional Multitasking. In others do what you have to but do it now and do it professionally. Many people try to multitask as depicted in the above video, this is foolish. You cannot walk and talk without getting into trouble. Bumping into people and speaking above your voice in waiting rooms is totally unprofessional. You cannot drive and smoke or drive and speak on the phone. This is illegal and very unprofessional. PMs always look for Professionalism at ALL times. They do something and they do it well. They focus and they take notice. They focus on what they have to do and take notice of what they have done. They look at time constraints like an athlete that needs to run the 100m in a specified time. Do they stop and talk or rather walk? No, they focus and focus their energies in what needs to be done at that specified time. This is PM and this is how you become a certified PM. Training for the 100m is done at a different time. Eating the right foods is also administered at scheduled times. Athletes don’t eat and run at the same time. Start tomorrow by working towards being a PM for life.

Your Daily Agenda

Your Daily Agenda

Quote of the day

‘To achieve Success in life you need to achieve an accomplished and fulfilling day. To do this you need to administer your time methodically and plan ahead logically using a Daily Agenda.

Dear Friends, I only realised the sheer importance of keeping a diary when I was given a second chance in life 21 years ago. I always carried a diary with me at all times in the past but my entries were not as professional as they should have been and they lacked the abilities that an entrepreneur to success would have in maintaining, updating and accomplishing the tasks listed in their diary. So, I thought about it in a logical manner and wondered what I did wrong that made me unprofessional and a procrastinator of valuable time. Diaries did exist in various formats but they did not contain the right pages for me to enter my scheduled tasks and in order for me to become professional I needed to create my own diary which I later did, called Destinations. Unlike other Diaries Destinations would become a revolutionary tool for me, allowing me to schedule my day according to my abilities and run a life that is freer, happier and of cause professional. To understand the concept of being professional we first need to define it. As human beings we are servants and sole custodians of the living world. This is a fact because you cannot prove otherwise. As servants of the living world and sole custodians in particular of our domains we need to exercise our roles in a professional manner. Professionalism is about undertaking a task or a series of tasks with the ability to execute them effectively and efficiently, nothing more or nothing less. To develop this skill takes time and time ensures that you gain the necessary experience to do just that. The buck does not stop there because technology is constantly changing and therefore we need to change with it. It does not hurt to learn, it does not hurt to learn when you are older either. Every day is a learning curve. Sometimes things do not work out as planned, professionalism takes cognisance of that and makes relevant adjustments. To make your day work you need to use a Diary, I recommend Destinations, details of which may be found in The Databank Times. A daily agenda is your blueprint to your life on Earth, written in your own handwriting and planned in advance with your ideas. A successful agenda is one that has all tasks for the day accomplished in a professional manner and done as per the allocated time. Management of your Time is the Key to your overall Success. Time per day must be equated in seconds rather than minutes or hours. The life of a meritocratic Goal Setter is defined as follows: All Entrepreneurs of Real Success utilises their allocated 86,400 seconds per day profitably and wisely.  They plan in advance in a logical way, dividing their daily tasks into allocated time slots. Their then spend their day working methodically to execute all their tasks with passion and desire in a professional and unselfish way. Professionalism comes from experience. It is the skill or knowhow of doing something effectively. Entering a task in your daily agenda or memorandum depends on your ability to execute it. Many of us fail at this point because we enter tasks into our memorandum but lack the professionalism to accomplish it. Accomplishment and Fulfilment are key strategies in making your day work and making your life a success. To become professional in anything that you do has a starting point and an ending bonanza. The starting point is your entry into your memorandum. An example would be a meeting at say 10:00am. Attending the meeting on time is one thing but to be prepared and partake in the rudiments of the meeting is another? Do you have the professionalism to do so? Did you plan ahead? Did you do sufficient research to put forward proposals?  As you can see to think logically enables you to plan systematically for anything whether it is a picnic or a meeting. To enter a list of tasks to accomplish for the day in your memorandum is based on your methodology summoned by your professionalism. If you are not as yet professional in that chosen field you then need to learn to become professional. This is the starting point I am referring to. The ending point is your reward whereupon you execute all your tasks professionally and with relative ease.

MEMOS

MEMOS
Quote of the day
‘Should you Manufacture Everlasting Memories On Succeeding or should you Manufacture Everlasting Memories Once Succeeded?’
Bonus Quote
‘Write down what you have to do and you will see everything will ultimately become right.’
Everlasting Memories are cherished ones that linger on for generations to come. They tell a tale of how success was achieved on a daily basis. They creates stories of fascination when told to people that need to be inspired. They make life illustrious and generally tell a tale of success that was built from nothing to something worthy of recognition. Transient memories are memories that are often forgotten because failure was attached to them. They surface as reminders of how painful an experience it was when finding the first job or finding a genuine friend. Transient memories tell a tale of how goals never materialised and how time was wasted for no real or valid reason. To become successful you need to cherish every day that makes up the word SUCCESS. Every day is a like a building block or a brick that creates the final structure be it a wall, house or your goal. The question at the header of this article asked, Should you Manufacture Everlasting Memories On Succeeding. The answer to that question is a big YES! Whatever you aim to do you need to aim to enjoy it. If there is no joy then life generally becomes sad and sorrowful. Why should you choose goals that will make your day let alone your life sad and sorrowful? You need to choose goals that will make you happy and cheerful. Creating happy and cheerful goals creates a defined plan irrespective of how big or small they really are. A defined plan or an agenda comes from ideas written down in your own hand writing. Do you remember when I once spoke of ‘The Entrepreneurial Dozen? The Entrepreneurial Dozen consisted of twelve powerful words that could change the way you do things. To remind you I list this quote once again for your perusal:
To execute a goal you would need first to know how to do it. Baking a loaf of bread for the first time is a goal. However how to do it from scratch is a lengthy process that is a long as the history of man. However if you follow a set of instructions that has previously worked you should have a loaf of bread baked in the specified time coming out of your oven. Instructions gives you direction. Instructions penned in your own hand writing will govern your day and your life. What makes instructions effective if there are put together in a systematic and chronological order? Do it if you know how to do it. If you do not know how to do it then you need to learn it. Learning takes time but it needs to be enjoyed too. Learning a new language can be fun if you are enjoying it. Success comes at a price and that price is hard and consistent work. If you have passion and desire in whatever you do you will create everlasting memories. Enjoy your day from now on. Govern your day with a set of written instructions penned in your own handwriting and is based on a set of written instructions that has previously worked. Keep your diaries for as long as you live. One day they shall make up your biography on planet Earth written in a text that is enriched with inspiration.

A Strategy that makes sense

A Strategy that makes sense
Quote of the Day
‘Life does not have to be complex, an agenda that is perplexed often leads to confusion. An agenda that is complexed often leads to procrastination. An agenda that is simplex often leads to accomplishment and fulfilment.’
Bonus Quote
Your agenda should instruct you rather than obstruct you. I always say instruct to construct rather than construct to obstruct.
Thank you for sharing your time with me today on this spectacular weekend of fun, merriment and rejoice. You earned it now go out there and enjoy it. Breathe in the freshness of a new weekend. Exhale the tiresome hours of the previous working week. Gather your thoughts and head straight for the door that opens into a kingdom of magic, splendour and grandeur. Today is Saturday, the start of your frivolous weekend. Yes, it is a weekend to be merry and playful. You worked hard and resilient over the past 5 days so why not pamper yourself with the finest that life can offer. What are your plans for the weekend? We stopped over at the port of relaxation enabling you to venture into a world of your very own. However all good things do come to an end. Weekends come and they go. So sitting at the back of your mind should be an aperture of what Monday and the days ahead of it will hold for you. You cannot ignore it so I say onto you think simple. Be simple and take on a workload that is simple. Does the Captain of your vessel take you on a complex journey over rapids, storms, breakers, strong winds or heavy fog? You need to keep it simple. Everything you do has to be simple. You need to eat simple, you need to exercise with simplicity, you need to commute with simplicity and you need to work with simplicity. Why? Because complexity makes you err, complexity makes you confused, complexity makes you procrastinate and complexity makes you difficult to understand. What is the purpose of your daily agenda? It is very easy to write one but is it easy to accomplish? If your agenda is confusing, non-coordinating and selfish there is a good chance that your day will be muddled and confused. There is also a good chance that you will be late, unpunctual and hesitant. You will not be coherent and you will be thinking of something else whilst working on a given task. You need to keep it simple. You need to break your day into tiny workable and doable modules with time allocations and understandable instructions. Your agenda should instruct you rather than obstruct you. I always say instruct to construct rather than construct to obstruct. Use your weekend as a mock exercise. I asked you earlier on what your plans are for the weekend. Is it going to be complex or simplex? Do you scurry along or do you take it in your strides. A weekend can also become exhausting if you do not plan and keep it simple. Decide on what you want to do and make it doable. Get help, participate, combine your efforts and make your weekend the start too many weekends to come that will fill your heart with joy, happiness and relaxation. Are you going out for the day or will you be at home? Either decision can make your weekends fall apart if you do not keep it simple. Life does not have to be complex, an agenda that is perplexed often leads to confusion. An agenda that is complexed often leads to procrastination. An agenda that is simplex often leads to accomplishment and fulfilment. I say onto you and verily too, be simple.

King Manum of Karuona

King Manum of Karuona
Quote of the day
‘Whether you are a King or a disciple you still hold the key to your personal success. If you act with callousness than you face the consequences of your actions. If you exercise sensitivity to all living organisms then you shall be King of your domain.’
There was stillness in the air as if life came to a halt in the Kingdom of Karuona. King Manum, the ancient ruler of Karuona was seated in a lotus pose as he always does before making decisions about governing his people. He realised that it was the end of an epoch but the beginning of a new era. He was about to be ostracised, banished into the wilderness that many feared to thread. King Manum looked anxiously at the stars as he browsed the ancient scripts that kept the secrets of the past and prophesied the future. It was as if  written in the stars that the time would come for the end of his rule on the frontiers of the eastern terrain of Kabunectha. Like King Manum of Karuona so the legend depicts all manifestations in life are carefully recorded. All forms of life in all eras are recorded, their results tabulated and the inference given consideration. This is how galaxies are formed and this is how galaxies come to an end. Every cycle of life has a beginning and an end. Every species of life has a purpose and this purpose is utilised as per nature's requirements. Human Beings like King Manum rank high in the species of living things. They are the controllers and managers of the soil and all the inhabitants, old and new and those yet to come two by two. Human Beings like King Manum have become somewhat deluded by power over the years and deployed a cynical role of selfishness instead, hoarding treasure in a cove that is temporary and drifted away from their nominal role. The light that traversed across space following the Big Bang keeps a record of ALL human activities including yours. It is like a modulated radio wave, carrying and varying each day according to ones actions. You cannot hide from this and neither can you erase it. You see you like King Manum are the script writers of your intent and as you act the role that you portray you will eventually be judged for that. They say that the Day of Judgement will be upon the face of the Earth, but what are we being judged for? You see it is quite simple, you are being judged for the good or bad that you have done from the start to the end. Ideally, all humans should live to 100 years on planet Earth exercising their role according to their decree. Every second that passes you is a second of information recorded about you and your actions? What we see in this world or other worlds that we traverse each life cycle is what we have done based on our intent. Let us just assess your intent in the last minute or right this minute. Was your intent good or was it bad? No matter what you do whether good or bad will have an impact on others around you past and present. If you acted selfishly there is a rhythmic flow of your intent to others around you, beyond you, above you and below you. Just by being selfish you hurt others in the process. You may be aware of it or you maybe unconscious of it. Did King Manum serve his people selfishly or unselfishly? Any action that you perform whether good or bad will result in a chain reaction affecting other people, including the flora and fauna around you. Chop down a tree and you create a rift of disparagement, vilification and denigration to the very souls that watch helplessly. Just by the action of your hand you destroy a living organism, the giver of oxygen and shelter to a multitude of dependants. Every human being dead or alive is accountable for his or her actions. You may well think that you got away with it but you cannot for the modulated wave carries your script and your resultant actions with it and this is reviewed after each cycle that you traversed across. To make amends is to act unselfishly right away, not a second later. Just try it for a day, you have nothing to lose but a lot to gain! See how the impact of doing well really is. When you identify your present circumstances do you often ponder on why it all went wrong for you? You are a human being on planet Earth that has an equal opportunity to a happy and contented life. The Universe is opulent and will cater for all of you. But why does it go wrong every time, every year or every decade. I think that it goes wrong because we allow others to interfere with our script of intent. We become influenced by others or circumstances and we therefore drift away from our real goals in life. To reach a stable and more contented life we need to establish what we want to do unselfishly in life and therefore become the scriptwriters of our own intent. King Manum, the mythical King acted selfishly and therefore met his consequences. You are the actor on the stage of life and therefore you should enact your life according to your script of intent, correctly. In doing so you shall be able to catch a falling star, climb the tallest peak, learn to speak in various languages, become a culinary expert, tally the figures both horizontally or vertically, plant a seedling, harvest the crop, watch them grow, reap the harvest, till the soil, swim across the channel or drift across the skies. All this becomes possible because unlike King Manum you decided to act unselfishly. Start today, keep a memo by your side, and write down whatever comes to mind that needs your attention or correction. Review this draft proposal and then commit to a final memo. This memo is actually a preamble of what becomes of tomorrow. If you are unselfish you are guaranteed to become the Master of your domain.
